Florida State Society SAR Nominations
It is that time of year, when the FLSSAR Nominating Committee is taking nominations for Florida Society Officer positions for the 2027-2028 year. Just as at the Chapter level, Society officers play a key role in the success of the Florida Society, and we encourage all compatriots to consider whether they would like to take a leadership role.
Interviews
This year, the Nominating Committee will be doing interviews with all declared candidates who are in attendance at the Fall Board of Managers Meeting in Orlando Oct 16-17, so we encourage you to file your nomination papers early!
Nomination Process
Current officers can submit their names for re-election by using the FLSSAR Officer Renomination Form attached to this email, and if you are either considering running for a different officer position, or you are running for the first time, please use the FLSSAR Officer nomination form that is attached. Both of these documents can also be downloaded from the Library on the FLSSAR website.
Deadline Date
Completed forms must be submitted by October 15, 2026, to allow the committee time to review all nominations.
